Make yourself more visible, especially at night, by wearing bright and reflective clothing, by positioning yourself so that other drivers can see you, signaling before turning or changing lanes, and using your horn when needed.
It is not recommended to use alcohol and driving at the same time. Even a single glass of alcoholic beverage restrict your ability to respond to changing conditions, and each glass increases your reaction time. Do not drive after consuming alcohol, do not let your friends drive after consuming alcohol.
It's important to keep your motorcycle well-maintained and in a safe riding condition. Inspect your motorcycle before each ride and perform all recommended maintenance works. Never exceed weight limits and do not make modifications to your motorcycle or do not install accessories that would make your motorcycle unsafe.
Personal safety should be your first priority.
If you or someone else is injured, take some time to assess severity of the injury and whether or not it is safe to keep riding.
If necessary, call emergency numbers. If another person or vehicle is involved in the accident, follow all applicable legislations and regulations. If you decide to continue riding, first check the motorcycle’s condition.
